BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
Members receive the Bee Improvement magazine free of charge as part of
their subscription. In 2001 it will be published quarterly
BIBBA holds conferences, sometimes in conjunction with other beekeeping
organisations, where well known speakers are invited to talk on different
aspects of beekeeping, with the emphasis on bee breeding. Other meetings
include occasional field days and workshops, these have in the past covered
instruction in morphometric techniques and assessment of behavioural
characteristics. Local breeding groups are encouraged to work together on bee
selection and breeding in their own local area.

only £15.00 per year, usually paid in January. (If you pay to
join now no further payment until Jan 2002.)
