Lindsay Grieve haggis champion BURNS' SUPPER   ADVICE
If you have the job of arranging a supper we would be happy to be of assistance. Where the haggis is the main course allow 6 - 8 oz per head. If only a starter course then 3 - 4 oz is plenty. The most economical way to buy haggis is our catering pack. It can be heated in hot water and served from the kitchen. The 'CEREMONIAL' for piping in would be in a natural skin and is normally used for the top-table and the
'Address to the haggis'. A 6 -10 Ib haggis is quite adequate for this. Make sure the plates are HOT. (Most important). Don't forget the vegetarians! To make ensure there is no problem with late postal delivery of the haggis. Either obtain the haggis mail order well in advance and hold in a freezer or have it sent by one of the 'Guaranteed Services' .
